 Hope and Hell Theatre Co. presents Hamlet (solo)an exciting one-man version of Shakespeare’s Hamlet performed by accomplished and award-winning performer Raoul Bhaneja.

Since its premiere at Theatre Passe Muraille in 2006, this winner of the Montreal English Critic’s Circle Award for Best Visiting Production has toured internationally to critical acclaim, including performances at the Edmonton Fringe Festival (hold over run); The Stratford Shakespeare Festival; The Banff Summer Arts FestivalThe soloNova Festival in New York and a return to NYC in 2009 at THE IRT TheaterThe UNO FestivalThe Edinburgh Fringe Festival and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

This thrilling adaptation focuses on the three most essential elements of theatre: The Actor, The Text and The Audience.  This production is “bare bones” in its presentation, but complex in its telling, with Bhaneja playing seventeen parts in a two-hour version using only Shakespeare’s text.
